NEW YORK (OCN) — When renting out an apartment to the public, there are a few questions that you would be asked by the potential tenant but here are a few that you would not expect.
Is the apartment in a 100 meter building?
This question is mostly ask by those who worry about global warming and potential dangers should a fire occur due to the terror attacks almost ten years ago on September 11, 2001.
Does the building shake when the trains pass by?
If your published ad states that the apartment is close to the bus and trains, those moving from areas which have loud freight and passenger trains will not know that you meant the underground subway trains.
Is my banned pet allowed at the apartment?
This is in response to an ad which states that “pets are okay” (which are non-exotic pets) but does not state what type of pets are acceptable.
