NEW YORK (OCN) — We are just a month away from the Dachshund Day in Washington Square Park and Charlie is missing. So who is Charlie? Well, Charlie is no Angel as he chewed off his leash and bolted away from his owners at the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Not long ago, Ruthie, also a dachshund, went missing for seventeen (17) months and was later found in the Bronx last month and was reunited with her family thanks to the Animal Care and Control of New York City in Manhattan due to the fact that Ruthie had been microchipped.
Charlie is also microchipped and his family is hoping that he comes home soon for the celebration in the city. Unfortunately, people love these types of dogs and may end up keeping them or try to sell the dog in another city.
