NEW YORK (OCN) — Do you think that you have it bad with the NYC N4 bus? here is a report from yesterday from a fed up rider.
Start out the week the same way I finished last week—get off work early, and end up spending two hours to get home—all because of the N4
There’s a 7:06 [PM] bus from Jamaica Center to Freeport…he usually leaves Jamaica Center around seven o’clock with ten passengers, maximum…the earliest the train pulls into Jamaica Center is 7:04, so the bulk of his passengers have to catch the 7:26 bus…that slacker never gets there on time, so besides having the bulk of the 7:06 passengers AND his lot of passengers, he get’s the front end of the 7:38 bus.
Friday he didn’t show up and the line was down the block, tonight he came five minutes late and since he saw a bunch of people [some E trains actually pulled in early] his bus couldn’t start to pull off, so i got the hell off. The 7:38 bus came on schedule and everyone emptied off his bus and got onto that one, and miraculously, after the 7:38 bus pulled off his could run
So he pulled off with twenty passengers, tops…oh, btw: HIS bus, # 1667 License Plate # L 56272 just in case the MTA ever get’s off their arses and investigate—is not primarily at fault though.
Besides the mysterious 7:06 bus that is long gone by 7:04, there’s a kiosk right across from the Q 84, which will be extinct under the MTA’s new final solution, which has what i suppose is the scheduling supervisor—when he’s not shooting the breeze or on his cell phone i suppose he’s watching TV…i DOUBT he is keeping track of the buses, which is why Jamaica Center has such a Third World feel to it.
Fine incompetent workers and USE THAT MONEY TO REWARD THE BEST
The driver of the 8:26 bus to Freeport is the greatest MTA employee ever!!! That dude is on time even in snowstorms
