NEW YORK (OCN) Most people do not have a clue where to transfer between MTA’s B48 and B8 bus. One reason this may be so is due to the fact that they do not cross paths so you would need to transfer between the two buses using the B35 bus or 3 train.
We interviewed a few teens on the 15th of January and the one 12-year-old was able to give us two options and showed the staff to do it as well.
Using the B35:
* Exit the B48 at Lincoln Road & Flatbush Avenue.
* Walk along Flatbush Avenue to Church Avenue and Flatbush Avenue.
* Take the B35 to the Brookdale Hospital stop at East 98th Street and Hegeman Avenue
* Exit the B35 and walk along East 98th Street towards Linden Boulevard.
* You can then acquire the B8 to your destination.
Using the 3 Line:
* Exit the B48 at Franklin Avenue Station.
* Take the #3 train to the Saratoga Avenue Station.
* Exit the Saratoga Avenue Station and walk along Saratoga Avenue towards East 98th Street.
* Walk along East 98th Street towards Linden Boulevard.
* You can then acquire the B8 to your destination.
