NEW YORK (OCN) — Has Regina Usvjat left Thacher Proffitt & Wood for Kane Kessler, P.C.? Well, when Regina Usvjat is typed into Google’s Search, her profile (which was on their site) is no longer in the search index.
At first, we assumed that TP&W added the “no index” and “no cache” tag to her profile page to prevent search engines from caching and indexing it but if you go to their site and take a peek in the “U” section, her name is no longer listed.
The burning question is “Is Usvjat still there?” and if not, “Did she leave on her own ?” or “Was she asked to?” We are thinking of asking Jessica Semon who is TP&W’s PR & Communications Specialist but when James Fannelli of the New York Post tried to get comments while doing the article PINUP’S NAKED JUSTICE, his calls were not returned so its possible we may not get any as well.
So far, the Adwords campaign (see below) for Regina Usvjat has stepped up. Ever since a new site, usvjat.com, was registered and launched, typing Regina Usvjat anytime of the day in Google’s Search shows the ads and even while continuing through the remaining index results.
You’ll find it all in the NY Post.
News, Gossip, Sports, And More!
It appears the new site was drawing away traffic so the ads campaign was bumped to its max. At one point, you would see it and then it would be gone but now it is always there. What is not there also is Usvjat’s profile that use to be on site such as lawyers.com, martindale.com and linkedin.com. Those vanished along with the cached version of the original content.
So how much would one pay for the Google Adwords?
Here are the results according to Google as of Tuesday, July 29, 2008.
Regina Usvjat – Minimum bid is $0.15
Usvjat – Minimum bid is $0.15
Is it easy for one the to do the same to get traffic to their site? We contacted Google via email and received the following.
Please note that when you submit a new ad or edit an existing ad, the ad will be immediately queued for review by AdWords Specialists and will be reviewed shortly.
If your ad is disapproved, you will receive an email from us. You can opt out of receiving these emails by updating your email preferences in the ‘Account Preferences’ section of the ‘My Account’ tab.
Please note that all ads must be reviewed and approved before they appear on sites in the Google Network, and some ads and keywords require review before they will run on Google.
So it appears the ads link will be king for a good time and any new players would have to be able to meet and beat the current resources of the New York Post.
