CALIFORNIA (OCN) — Google Translate, a service provided by Google Inc., is used to translate text into another language.
Currently, the service helps with text translation of Arabic, Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish and Swedish.
You may not think that it is impressive since other providers have similar translation services but come Sunday September 1, 2008, according to a representative, you will be singing a different tune as the new Google Translate will be able to translate video (Google and YouTube Video) as well.
Why only Google Video and YouTube Video? Well, the move is help keep video piracy down as viewers may try to use it view pirated movies that are uploaded online in other languages.
