OHIO (OCN) — American retailer of women’s wear, lingerie and beauty products, Victoria’s Secret is being sued by one of their customers. The suit was initiated by a California female who claims a product (a thong… yes we are not joking) that she purchased and tried on caused damaged to her eye.
So who is the mystery woman? She is none other than 52 year old Macrida Patterson, a traffic officer of Los Angeles, CA who is represented by attorney, Jason Buccat. The incident is alleged to have happen in 2007 of May where a decorative metallic piece on the underwear flew up hitting Patterson in the eye.
Does underwear accidents happen often? Well, some accidents are planned. An example is someone who is late for work who decides to make up time by standing on one leg and hop to put the underwear on. If their foot should get stuck, there is a slight chance they would fall if they did not end up ripping the piece. This can be prevented by taking the time to sit down and carefully slip it on.
So consumers have to watch out for sharp objects and stains as it is possible for stores to accept returned underwear then tag themonce again for sale. We’ll continue to update you on this ‘eye-catching’ story.
