When you sit in an office chair for six to eight hours, you can cause yourself to get lower back pain or worsen an existing neck or back pain. To reduce your risk, you should make sure you have an ergonomic office chair. Not sure what one looks like? Chances are your boss has one with bells and whistle.
Most employees tend to eat at their desk and this is not encouraged as your food can pick up any germs that is on your desk and in the cubicle. It is a good idea to use a cleaner to sanatize your desk at least once per week. Keeping your desk empty will be up to you as your boss may take it as a green light to give you more tasks. Along with germs, you should watch out for certain objects like, scissors, staples and pointy pencils.
