FLORIDA (OCN) — Six students in Sarasota are suspended today. The teens ranging from fifteen to seventeen decided to cut class earlier this week so they could go and get an early peek at monster trucks which are coming to Sarasota County Fairgrounds for Sarasota County Parks and Recreation’s 12th Annual Big Truck Day.
The event isn’t until April 26th but the teens wanted to take a browse around before security got tight which would then cost $5.00 for admission.
While enjoying the use of the mechanical bull, bounce house and bungee jump, they were caught by contractors who were setting up and they were reported to security. They were fined and released for trespassing and were suspended for three days by the school district.
