Below is valuable information for the 2009 ING New York City Marathon and future dates.

Friday, May 1, 2009 at 11:59 PM is the deadline to apply to the ING New York City Marathon for 2009 which is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2009.

Those wishing to attend should visit NYCMarathon.org for further details. When you visit, you will see the “Course Information” and a chance to download a PDF Map so you can see where to wait to cheer friends and family in the race.

If you are visiting from another state with a vehicle, it is best to utilise parking for the Javits Convention Center since there will be street closures as early as 12:00 AM to 7:00 PM then use the downloadable map to find your way around the city. While near the Javits Convention Center, you can also take one of the bus tours that are available to locals and visitors to follow the route.
