Is human swine flu in New York State? The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have confirmed several cases of human swine flu in Queens. So far, those who have gotten sick have only experienced mild symptoms.
If you have children, is fifty-five (55) and older, suffer from any chronic condition like asthma or diabetes, have to take aspirin, you may want to consider getting flu shots in New York after speaking with your health professional.
