How does one travel to Six Flags in New Jersey from the State of New York?
Charter Buses
Going in a big group? If you are going in a big group, make arrangements for your own charter bus to Six Flags in New Jersey. You will receive the option of going and leaving on your own time while others are on a fixed schedule with local buses and trains.
Local Buses
Travelers will need to take the New Jersey Transit 308 bus to Six Flags from Gate 324 located on the second floor of the North Terminal at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. This is the simple way to go if you feel that you will have trouble following the driving directions to Six Flags. Before going, please be aware of the payment types for the PABT to avoid delays as there are only one departure available.
Local Trains
Local trains are available but is to be used as a last resort. From Manhattan, the Northeast Corridor Line is available to Trenton, NJ. Once in Trenton, hire a local taxi to Six Flags in New Jersey as the NJ Transit 310 bus was discontinued in 2005.
Additional Savings
Got a pay-per-rider MetroCard? If so, the PATH train is available from World Trade Center or the 33rd Street Station to Newark Penn Station located in Newark, NJ with your pay-per-ride MetroCard. Currenly, unlimited ride MetroCards are not accepted on the PATH train. Using this method will save riders about US$10.00 on commuting to Six Flags in New Jersey when they meet up with the New Jersey Transit 308 bus at Newark Penn Station in Newark, NJ instead of the Port Authority Bus Terminal. Please use this method only if you can arrive in Newark, NJ by 9:00 AM so you can catch the New Jersey Transit 308 bus on its way from New York City to Six Flags.

When you arrive at Six Flags, show them your Discover card and you can enter through the Discover Card member Entrance Lane during the first two hours of each day.
