You are in New York State and need to get from Queens to the Bronx Zoo. To get from Queens to the Bronx Zoo, you should take the Q44 Bus from Queens to East 180th Street and Boston Road in the Bronx.
Once there, exit the Q44 Bus and take twenty (20) minutes to walk a few blocks to the Bronx Zoo.
If the twenty (20) minute walk will be too long for you and those that are with you, then after exiting the Q44 Bus, walk further along on East 180th Street and wait at the bus stop (click for image) to transfer to the BX09 Bus to get dropped closer to the zoo. Travel on the BX09 Bus will take approximately 10 minutes.
On very hot days, members of the New York Forum and Bronx Zoo Forum suggest that you to take along some water so that you can keep hydrated and reduce your chance of fainting or having a heat stroke.
