The World Trade Center is one of the most visited area from Times Square.
To get from Times Square to World Trade Center, you have numerous options which makes travel easy but understanding complicated. Let us see if we can break it down by taking the downtown 2/3 express (red on the subway map) to Park Place, which connects to Chambers Street on the A/C (blue on the subway map) and World Trade Center on the local (E) train.
If those line are experiencing trouble, another option to get there is to take underground passageway from Times Square to the Port Authority Bus Terminal (PABT) A/C/E Platform. Once there, take downtown local (E) train to World Trade Center or take the downtown A or C to Chambers Street as well. It may seem hard but once you look over the subway map, you will wonder why it appeared so difficult.
