Are you planning on house hunting in Manhattan’s neighborhood? If you were looking downtown for a place to rent and wanted to rank them from most expensive to least expensive, this would be the order.
* West Village
* East Village
* LES/Little Italy
* Midtown South

To save your sanity, here are a few questions to ask when renting in New York. Good luck on your search.
