I am going to be visiting the Bronx Zoo soon and I would like some suggestions on a nearby restaurant to try. Any Italian, steakhouses, seafood restaurants?

The Belmont section is close to the Bronx Zoo. It has great Italian bakeries, pizza places and restaurants.
Here is the info on Dominick's Restaurant located on Arthur Avenue and 184th Street from New York Magazine.

A friend of mine got taken to Emilia's Restaurant at 2331 Arthur Avenue and she loved it and if I remember correctly, you do not have to make reservations but I'd check anyways.

You know, I've never been to Emilia's. The next time I go shopping over the Arthur Avenue Retail Market, I'm going to go in and see how they are.

So, did you make it for the 4th of July weekend? Knowing you, you were too busy to go. :P
