Ah! That sounds nice. Welcome back, the way. :)
If you ae offered a map or brochure on your visit, it is a good idea to take it.

Coupons are often placed in or at the back of maps (the Queens Zoo is a perfect example) and you can use it on a future trip or at another wildlife attaction.

All I can say is that I spend the afternoon at the NY Aquarium and I should have gone to the zoo. It certainly has changed over the years, and not for the better!! Not very clean and very, very crowded with camps and several of the exhibits were closed. Not a very good choice.

What a nice day to go especially when you can use the Bank of America card to get in free.
June 5th and June 6th is the free weekend days for June 2010.
