Watchmen (2009)
CALIFORNIA (OCN) — After watching the 2.25 minute clip, I notice that it does look promising, and from the flashes shown in the trailer it seems they are at least sticking reasonably close to the original story.
I was very surprised to see the Mars sequence, when I heard about this movie I assumed that would be cut. I wonder if the ending will stay the same, that would definitely surprise me.
I’m pretty impressed with how Dr. Manhattan turned out, they really nailed his look and he was by far the toughest.
When an ex-superhero is murdered, a vigilante named Rorshach begins an investigation into the murder, which begins to lead to a much more terrifying conclusion.
The Comedian, Rorshack, and Silk Spectere all look pretty great too. I’m not sure about Night Hawk though, he doesn’t look quite like I remember, he’s a bit too ‘batmany’.
I am definitely excited to see the movie though for March 2009. Three thumbs up.
