Woman Goes Toe to Toe with 88 Cents Dreams
NEW YORK (OCN) American retailer of personal hygiene products, 88 Cents Dreams is being sued. The suit was initiated by a New Jersey female who claims a product (a toe nail clipper… yes we are not joking) that she purchased and used caused damaged to her toe.
So who is the mystery woman? She is none other than 25 year old Melissa Thompson, a bistro owner from Cranbury, NJ. Her attorney, David White says while Thompson was cutting her nails she got a bit to close to the meat, and snipped a bit of it of too. Thompson’s attorney says the makers, 88 Cents Dreams, made a sharp product and also did not put a warning on the package. “If a warning was there” says Thompson “I would have made sure that I only clip/cut
the nail.
We contacted 88 Cents Dreams in New York and was told hat they do not comment on pending litigation.
