Malware on Answers-video.com

NEW YORK (OCN) — Having problems with the EPPICard Scam? Well, if you went to Yahoo! Answer to ask for help, watch out for links pointing to answers-video.com.

Visiting the site, answers-video.com, will let your computer become infected with spyware/malware (Media Codec that is a trojan) which you can diagnose with VirusTotal (a free service offered by Hispasec Sistemas) and remove with a program called known as Spybot.

Spybot (often called Spybot-S&D) is a popular malware, spyware and adware removal program which operates on Microsoft Windows 95 and later.

Windows users are easier targets to the trojan but Mac users can still have problems by having the Operating System lock up.
