TX Man Kills Wife for Sleeping with Mistress
TEXAS (OCN) — A Texas husband is accused of killing his wife for sleeping with his mistress.
30-year-old Ronald Thacher who is an Assistant Manager at Profit and Loss Clothing Outlet was arrested by police in Forth Worth, Texas earlier yesterday without incident.
Thacher’s lawyer, Michael Stone, says when Thacher arrived at home, he found his wife, 28-year-old, Janet Thacher in their bedroom with his mistress 26-year-old Cindy Rockford.

Rockford came to Thacher’s home earlier to drop Ronald’s 2-year-son to whom they both have joint custody. Unbeknown to Thacher, his wife and Rockford were having relations with each other during their time at college and continued even after the two got married in 2005.
Stone says his client was “distraught and feeling depressed” and after a short argument with the two, shot them both but Janet was not fortunate to survive from her injuries.
This act will be a nail the coffin for the Texas Citizens Defense League who are petitioning the governor and the state to allow Texas citizens to carry firearms in plain sight. So far, Texas, along with only six states, prohibits the practice.
So is it dangerous? Well, in 2007 in the State of Utah, police officers saw a man carrying a shotgun openly on the street of Ogden. When officers approached to man to question him, he allegedly shot at the officers who in turn returned fire killing him.
It will be interesting to see if it passes and watch people walk into a Police Station, financial institution or school with one since they have right to bear arms and if shooting stats will increase.
