Computer Virus Kills Father of Three
OHIO (OCN) — Experts has always said that computer viruses can not harm you physically and that it can only affect you computer system. Yesterday, they were proved wrong.
Ronald Bush, 48, likes to visit Myspace.com while he is on his on lunch at Ohio Valley Metals, Inc. With the site being blocked by the IT Department, Bush went on Yahoo Answers in search of MySpace proxies to bypass the blocks.
One of the site he visited cause him to receive the “VirusHeat.” The VirusHeat is a sneaky set of instructions that tricks the user into thinking they have a genuine virus loose on their system.
While Bush was trying to disable the numerous false alarms on his computer, according to investigators, Bush inadvertently triggered the office Halon Suppression System using his computer. The system released carbon dioxide and other agents into the office atmosphere which suffocated the 48 year old office manager.
He is survived by his wife Tina, daughters Christine and Stacey and son Ronald Jr.
Mrs. Bush plans to contact an attorney to file suit against the virus programmer for wrongful death.
