New York 15 Passenger Van Rental

NEW YORK (OCN) – Most of the regular car and truck rental places do not have vans large enough to accommodate 15 passengers.

If you are fortunate to find one, make sure you have an experience driver behind the wheel and that you properly load the van so it doesn’t tip or flip during severe weather conditions.

Fortunately for drivers, AAMCAR has such a vehicle in their lineup. Before you jump behind the wheel, here are some things to remember to keep you safe on your trip.

1. Driving for long periods can be very tiring on your body.
Stop occasionally and take a break at one of the many attractions in The State of New York or at rest stop along your journey.

2. Use your headlights so you can be seen.
A few rental vehicles are dark in color and your headlights and taillights will you to be seen and reduce your chances of being hit in the rear or head on.

3. Avoid driving in reverse whenever possible.
Most van accidents are caused when the driver is navigating the vehicle in reverse. If you must reverse, try to have outside assistance.

4. Do not go “off road”.
You van may not be equipped for such a task and you may risk being stranded in a remote area.

5. Avoid making “U” turns.
Vans have a wider turning radius will require you to make at least one backward motion which could cause you to reverse into traffic at your rear.
