Download Mac OS X Leopard
NEW YORK (OCN) — I heard Apple Inc. was coming out with Mac OS X Leopard which is version 10.5 of their operating system. I wanted to see how powerful it was and if it could make me give up Windows Vista so I went to Macintosh Support Forum and after a few minutes was able to find the 15 files that I was looking for.
After taking 10 minutes to read thru the download instructions, I was on my way with the four hour download. I decided to use my desktop and notebook at the same time to do the download and was able to download all the files in two hours and nine minutes. I checked to make sure I got it all and got ready to burn it to a DVD disc.
I popped the DVD disc in my SuperDrive and set up my burning program and grabbed my Apple iPhone to watch a movie on YouTube in the next room. I came back a few minutes later and it was done. I disconnected my USB drive and printer and did a soft boot and when the disc booted, I was welcomed with a friendly installation screen.
The process took less than 30 minutes to install and I was in awe with the ease of installation. Apple install process has really come along way since Mac OS 9.0.4 and I was very impressed.
When I saw the desktop, I was blown away by its awesome new look. To see it for yourself, you will need
* Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster) processor
* 512MB of physical RAM
* DVD drive for installation and DVD burning
* Internet Connection to download the files
