If you need to commute between New York, NY and Bayonne, NJ you will want to catch the NJ Transit 120 Bus.
It is direct (which reduces transfers) but operates only for a few hours in the early morning so wake up early. angry.gif

If you are unfortunate to miss the last NJ Transit 120 Bus, you can use PATH Train and NJ Transit 81 Bus.
The PATH Train will accept pay-per-ride MetroCards but not the NJ Transit 120 Bus and NJ Transit 81 Bus.

Please look on the NJ Transit 120 Bus schedule for the current information.

If NYC is the City that Never Sleeps, why the heck does it have so many hotels?

People I know take a Manhattan Car Service as they are going to take a cruise. That can be an option too. Posted Image

You can also take the PATH Rapid Transit System train from Manhattan to Jersey City, NJ or Hoboken, NJ.
Once outside the PATH Station, take the available NJ Hudson-Bergen Light Rail train to Bayonne, NJ.

Thanks for the car service. We have tons of luggage for four people to haul for our cruise in the coming weeks.

I would love to go on a cruise but since I can't swim, I'll keep my feet on dry land. ;)

You don't have wings so does that mean you won't fly to New York anymore? :P

Hi there. I hope that there is someone here that can really help us as soon as possible.
We need to know how much time is needed to commute to New York City from Bayonne, NJ?
We are going to be apartment hunting and want to get an idea of the commute. Thank you.

It all boils down to traffic congestion and the weather in the New York City area.

Commute isn't too bad and you can look into the Bayonne Flyer for faster service. Here's the schedule.

If you plan to take PATH on Friday, make sure they are running.
I just heard that power outage caused interrupted service today.
